So your home is now ready for showings – you cleaned, you finished all the unfinished projects and updates, you decorated and staged!  Now your home is listed for sale on the market!  So the last part is to make sure you get it ready for showings each day!

So how do you do this without driving yourself crazy that you have done all the things you need to do to get your house ready for showings?  When I sold my house, I sometimes felt like a chicken without it’s head on – running around, worrying that maybe I had forgotten something, worrying that maybe I didn’t do enough!  As a seller, I would have loved to have a 24 hour notice before each showing!  But as a Realtor, I know it doesn’t always work out that way, so your house really needs to be ready each day, in anticipation of those last minute showings!

So to help you keep calm when your house is on the market, here is the checklist I developed for myself when I was selling my house!

So first step was – MAKING THE CHECKLIST!!!  I had to make sure the house was always in show ready condition!  The last thing I ever wanted was to turn away a last minute showing request on my house – after all, you don’t know if they are the one!
